Resepi roti sardin

I'm craving for some nice hot Roti Sardin pedas right now so I might as well make a blogpost about it. Duhhhh!

Bahan-bahan:

5 keping roti sandwich 1 tin sardin 3 sudu makan tepung gandum 2 biji telur

1 biji bawang besar (dihiris bulat)

1 ulas bawang putih (dihiris nipis)

1 biji cili besar (dihiris secara menyerong) Garam secukup rasa 1 cawan minyak masak

How to cook:

I love to cook the sardine first so we'll start with that. I hope you know to de-can the sardine from its tin. If not, please Google that first. Hehe.

1. Pour 3 table spoon of oil inside the pot. Add the sliced onion and garlic. Just fry for about 30 seconds and then add all the sardine inside. We don't want the sardine to be soupy so we'll not add water. Now add in chilies and a little bit of salt for taste. Cook until it becomes dry.

2. We have to prepare for the roti now. Usually we used sliced bread and we need to trim the brown edges. Roll the bread using rolling pin or if you don't have rolling pin you can use glass, it work just fine. Put some cooked sardine in the middle and roll it in a cylinder shape.

3. In another bowl, break the egg, add a pinch of salt and 3 table spoon of wheat flour inside. Whip the mixture well.

4. Dip the rolled bread inside the mixture. And preheat the oil, you'll know it is ready to fry when you dipped the spatula and it shows little bubbles. Fry the roll until it turn yellowish brown and it is ready to serve.

ps: Please line your serving plate with kitchen tissue paper to absorb excess oil. And enjoyyyy! It's nice served with hot tea on a rainy afternoon. Now I'll dream about it in peace.
