Resepi nasi tomato

I draft this one as soon as I finished writing the recipe for nasi ayam. It makes me super duper hungryyyy. Still remembered the one that I ate last Friday. And plus it's lunchtime. Droolllls.

Ok so time for rambling, let's onto the recipe.

Bahan-Bahan:

5 cawan beras (cuci dan toskan)

1/2 cawan susu cair

4 biji tomato (dicincang dadu)

1/2 cawan sos tomato

2 sudu besar majerin/minyak sapi

5 sudu besar minyak masak

Garam secukup rasa

Air (ikut sukatan beras dalam 5 cawan)

Daun pandan disimpul

Bahan tumis:

3 ulas bawang putih (dihiris halus)

5 ulas bawang merah (dihiris halus)

1 inci halia (dihiris halus)

3 biji buah pelaga

3 biji bunga cengkih

2 batang kulit kayu manis

3 kuntum bunga lawang

Bahan hiasan:

Daun sup (dicincang)

Daun bawang (dicincang)

Cili merah (dihiris menyerong)

Cara cara:

1) Rice preparation

Tip: if you want to cook this in an electric cooking rice, make sure to wash the rice in a separate bowl first.

Ok, now wash the rice until it is clean and squeaky. Hahaha

2) Menumis

Prepare your electric pot by pressing COOK button. You must do this or else it won't cook (not that I've ever experienced that before haha). Put the butter and cooking oil in. Fry all the ingredients until it's all cooked and smell nice, you'll know that when the onion turns yellow and the room is filled with a nice smell that makes your mouth water.

3) Mix-it-all

Okay now is the fun part. Pour all the evaporated milk (susu cair), tomato sauce, diced tomatoes inside. Stir a bit. Add some salt to add flavour. Now, you can finally add the rice and water in. Do not forget to add the pandan leaf to enhance dish's aroma. Wait for the rice to dry and don't forget to mix the rice slowly so that all the ingredients is well cooked.

4) Deco-to-your-heart-content

Yayy, can eat already. Scoop the desired amount and garnish the rice with some parsley, scallion and cut chilies. You have to enjoy the nasi with ayam masak merah and acar timun. Now, you can eat to your heart content, you deserve it since, well you cooked it yourself. :)
